The "IEFT Education Fairs Roadshow - March 2014" is made up 6 education fairs organized in 5 different cities in Turkey. The exhibitors at the fairs are international education institutions from various countries. The roadshow is organized by IEFT International Education Fairs of Turkey (IEFT).
The Consulate General of Canada (Consulate) has partnered with IEFT to organize the Canadian participation to the Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir portions of the roadshow. The benefits of this partnership include; reduced participation fees, display space in specially branded Canadian village/cluster, a reception for key contacts on March 14, and an advertising campaign focused on Canadian education institutions.
Canadian institutions may want to take advantage of additional discounts if they choose to participate in the Adana and Eskisehir legs of the roadshow. Consulate staff will be present throughout the roadshow.
IEFT has been organizing student recruitment fairs for over 12 years throughout Turkey. This event will be the 25th recruitment fair that IEFT has organized. IEFT will provide organization and logistic support throughout the roadshow. An estimated 20,000 (Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara 15,000 + Adana, Eskisehir 5,000) visitors are expected to attend the fairs. The visitor profile includes; high school students and their families, university students, company executives and workers, education agents, school counselors, and high school and university decision makers.

Participation in the event at the above-mentioned base prices include:
- Specially branded Canada village/cluster for branded Canadian educational institutions in all locations.
- A specially branded and constructed pavilion in Istanbul (European side) and tabletop display space in other locations.
- A reception for Canadian education institutions and key local contacts on March 14, 2014.
- Coffee/tea and lunch coupons for 2 people only to each stand.
- Institutional profiles will be displayed on the student web page www.ieft.com.tr and in IEFT Study Abroad Magazine.
- Seminar space/time on Saturday or Sunday in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir for each institution.
- Special advertising campaign focused on Canadian education institutions will be initiated that includes distribution of flyers, display of web banners on Turkish national websites, e-mail messages, SMS messages, lighted posters in Istanbul subway, and advertising in IEFT Study Abroad Magazine.
*In addition, special seminars can be organized to promote institutions' graduate programs.
