SACO Student Fair in Malmo is a regional recruitment event for the choice of higher education. Between 4,000 and 5,000 young people in their final year of high school visit Saco Fair in Malmo to look for inspiration and information for their choice of further education.

Swedish students are very keen to take on the adventure of studying in a foreign country. 26,600 Swedes studied abroad in 2010/2011. Of these, 6,000 were on an exchange programmes and 17,500 were free movers (of which 3,500 on language courses).

The student recruitment fair will present Canada as a viable and preferred study destination for local students seeking to study abroad. Top-notch Canadian post-secondary institutions will present their study programmes and discuss individual interests with Swedish students, their parents and guidance counsellors. The activity will also provide an opportunity for students and their parents to obtain information on the Canadian education experience as well as scholarship and immigration.
